Why Join?

Let’s be honest. When you think of a sorority, you think of women in college. But we vowed to be Kappas beyond our college days and into the lives of families and careers.

Whether it’s to network, make new friends or find someone to support you through parenthood, we’re here and we want to help. Reconnect with Kappa by joining your local alumnae association today.

Joining the SF/Marin KKG Alumnae Association is a fulfilling opportunity to connect with one another, give back to the community and keep our traditions alive. It’s never too late to contribute and get involved!

Paying dues to Kappa Kappa Gamma as alumnae is important to both your local alumnae association and national fraternity as a whole! The future of  Kappa Kappa Gamma depends on our alumnae associations not only surviving, but thriving. We need our members to be connected to other Kappas, to share their time and talents, to promote the Fraternity so that it can continue to be strong for future generations. To do that, we need our members to "join" their local alumnae association.

Kappas are asked to pay dues to their alumnae association each year to be in good standing with the Fraternity. Our alumnae associations are in turn asked to pay a portion of these dues ($25 per member per year) to Fraternity Headquarters.

The amount collected above $25 stays within the local alumnae association and supports the activity of the association, including, but not limited to: philanthropy events, social events, newsletters, directories, postage, giving within the community and the active chapters, and the Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation.

Dues paid for 2018/2019 keep you in good standing with Fraternity Headquarters for the fiscal year of July 1, 2018-June 30, 2019. The last day to submit your dues for the 2018-2019 fiscal year is March 31, 2019.
